Daniel Espinosa heads Jamal Khashoggi's murder biography
Good Films Collective has started to put together a number of big name projects, including a biopic about the murder of Saudi Arabian-born dissident Jamal Khashoggi with Daniel Espinosa (Morbius) attached to direct according to the deadline.

The film titled the execution, will be a … "Narrative dramaFocused on the background events that led to the murder of Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist who was killed and dismembered to get a marriage certificate after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, and becomes the motives behind the murder and its aftermath investigate his death.
The project is to be written by Kon Tiki Screenwriter Petter Skavlan, directed by Espinosa, and Good Films Collective director Miriam Segal will produce the project for her independent studio.

After his debut in 2010 with the critically acclaimed crime thriller Easy moneyEspinosa made his English-language debut with the action thriller in 2012 Safe house with Denzel Washington (The equalizer 2) and Ryan Reynolds (Free guy), which opened to mixed reviews and a strong cash return, and was originally intended to return for a sequel that has since failed in developing hell. After the historical thriller flop Child 44Espinosa returned to the big budget tariff with the 2017 sci-fi horror Lifeand brought him back together with Reynolds, who received generally positive reviews from critics and a modest cash return.
His next effort comes in the form of the next episode in Sony's Marvel universe. Morbiuswith Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) as the eponymous Marvel Vampire antihero, which is currently scheduled for release on March 19, 2021.
